The main thing that is likely to be seen, however, is the negative. There are many people who believe that the final season could have been stronger. There are many examples shown of plot holes, and people stating that once they thought about the finale after watching, they were just as confused as they were before it. Many people on many social media platforms state that there were no stakes for any characters by the time the finale came around, leaving them emotionless when stakes were supposed to be high. This theory was known as Conformity Gate and explained the plot holes that were constantly being talked about. It would also explain why some characters ended up the way they did. This theory was debunked when a documentary on the making of season 5 was announced instead of a new episode coming out.
Overall, this finale was disappointing for the many people who grew up watching this series. It was also disappointing for the casual watchers as well because of how anticipated it was. Despite the show being well-produced for the last 10 years, the finale was unfortunately not produced well, according to a larger part of its audience. However, there are the many people who saw the good in this season and were satisfied with it.
