In-N-Out, a popular burger fast food restaurant chain, opened its first Idaho store in Meridian on December 12 at the Village which was also its 400th store. The next In-N-Out locations, if plans go accordingly, will be on 140 N Milwaukee St. by Boise Towne Square and in Meridian on Ten Mile Rd. and Chinden Blvd. The company applied for a building in Nampa, but it is pending approval. If approved, it will be in the old TGI Friday’s building at the Nampa Marketplace.

When it first opened in Meridian, the wait time was around eight hours. People have been begging for an In-N-Out in Idaho, and they were willing to wait that long to experience the food and service.

Sophomore Tomie Feist went to In-N-Out Burger on January 26, and she waited in line for about 90 minutes. She claimed that the workers instructed to guide people throughout the drive-through were very organized. When she got the food, Feist said that the food was hot, but not worth the wait. The burger was good, but there was nothing special about it. Feist says that “the fries were mild and stale but went well with the milkshake.” The chocolate milkshake she had was good, but she felt overall that waiting 90 minutes was a little crazy.
