My name is Sarita Cullum and I am a freshman. I originally joined Journalism because of a friend, but on the second day of class, I started to like the idea of interviewing people. The type of stories I’m interested in working on are mainly opinion stories. I like the idea of interacting with people and hearing all the different opinions they have about certain subjects. This year I would like to learn more about Journalism in general: what facts are out on social media or certain websites and what is one big fib so I could help people I know realize if what they’re reading is true.
